The aim of the project was to create a modern interior eliminating all connections to the impression of traditional soviet time flat. The living-room was expanded for the account of the bedroom and the balcony and in the areas connected a table and niche for books appeared as it is common solution for modern accommodations. Bathroom and toiled were joined into one common area. White colour for the walls and ceilings together with light tones of floor planks visually expanded rather tight space of the flat and created the background suitable for “playing with items”: from furniture, chandeliers to various works of art (Virginijus Viningas is the author of the painting in the living-room) and decorative details. Scandinavian interior was the main source of inspiration for the project.
