The ground floor of a semi-detached house in Giruliai, Klaipeda district, has been reconstructed so that when the garage had been removed, all its space connected. A living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a children’s playroom behind a glass door have been set up there. Only a corridor and a toilet remained separate. On the second floor there are bedrooms for parents and children, a dressing room and two bathrooms. Dark, smoky oak floors are used throughout the house. They are combined with light grey shades of walls, furniture and curtains. The interior style is modern, with some distinct focal points. On the ground floor, these are hanging bronze-coloured pendant lights, a natural marble fireplace finish and stairs with tempered glass sheets fence, extending to the next floor. There is also a distinct ground floor toilet, to which the smoked oak floor “enter” from the common room. The focal point of the children’s rooms on the first floor are lamps that mimic air balloons.
